APGAR score includes which component?

Appearance

APGAR score assesses a newborn’s condition right after birth by looking at five signs, one of which is Appearance, meaning skin color. This component measures how well the baby is circulated and oxygenated at that moment. The other common indicators—Pulse (heart rate), Grimace (reflex irritability), Activity (muscle tone), and Respirations (breathing effort)—together with Appearance form the full scoring system. Blood pressure, temperature, and oxygen saturation aren’t part of APGAR, though they may be watched during care. So Appearance is the correct component because color is one of the five criteria used in APGAR scoring.
